ACCESS BALANCE

Holistic Health Kinesiology in Eudlo

Hi, I’m Tarla!

I’m a qualified kinesiologist with over 20 years’ experience in kinesiology and other energy based therapies.  If you’re curious about how approaching physical, mental and emotional stresses from an energetic perspective can shift deep-seated health or well-being challenges, I would love to welcome you into my clinic at Eudlo on the Sunshine Coast.

What can Kinesiology do for me?

Applied Kinesiology is a gentle yet powerful modality that uses muscle biofeedback to tap into the body’s innate intelligence. It’s based on the understanding that the body is a self-healing system, constantly seeking balance and harmony. When something—whether physical, emotional, chemical, or energetic—is out of alignment, it shows up as a change in muscle response. By listening to these subtle signals, kinesiology helps identify the underlying stress and restore flow where it’s been blocked to allow the body to naturally heal.

Services

Three pathways to support meaningful, sustainable change—choose the one that meets you where you are.

  • Kinesiology is the session you book when you’re ready for something that finally meets you where you are and offers treatment specific to you. Offered as one-off or packaged sessions, each appointment follows the body’s wisdom to release stress, restore balance, and support clarity.

    What a session looks like
You’ll lie comfortably on the treatment bed, fully clothed. I check in with your body and let gentle muscle testing guide us—no forcing, no second-guessing. We balance what needs attention most: structure and tension, emotional load, toxicity and hydration, and nervous-system regulation. Sessions are lighthearted and relaxing, yet deeply focused and curious.

    What to expect

    • Guided by your body: Muscle testing reveals the next right step; you don’t need to have the answers.

    • Gentle & non-invasive: Touch is light; changes are often subtle yet profound.

    • Safe without over-talking: We can work effectively without revisiting every story—ideal if you prefer a quieter, embodied approach.

    • Integrated support: Complements counselling, physiotherapy, naturopathy, acupuncture, and other care.

    Structure & options

    • Initial intake (≈90 min): Extra time to explore your history, health, and priorities.

    • Single sessions (≈60 min): Follow-ups guided by the body’s current priorities.

    • Packages (3 or 5 sessions): Value bundles that encourage continuity for deeper, lasting results (used within a set timeframe).

    Pricing

    • Intake session: $150

    • Single session: $120

    • 3-session package: $345

    • 5-session package: $550

    Why my clients love it
Clarity without pressure. Relief without pushing. Most clients leave feeling lighter, calmer, and more connected to themselves—like their system finally got the memo.

Kind note: Kinesiology is complementary. It supports wellbeing but doesn’t diagnose or replace medical care.

  • Nutrition is how we complement the body’s inner wisdom. As a Certified Functional Nutrition Consultant, I help you (and your family) cut through “food confusion” with simple, sustainable steps towards a nutrient-dense, low toxicity, wholefood way of eating. This standalone offering supports individuals and families who want clarity and simplicity in how they eat.

    What a session looks like
While we work together, we map your real life - eating habits, routines, stress, sleep, cravings - and translate it into doable changes. We’ll review what you’re eating now, clarify labels and hidden ingredients, and create easy upgrades (meals, timing, hydration, pantry swaps) that steady energy and mood. Sessions are light, practical, and judgement-free.

    Opportunities / inclusions

    • Food-intake review

    • Pantry decluttering and food-label education

    • Simple one- or two-week food plans to guide change

    • Easy recipes to support your routine

    • Focus on sustainability and balance (not extremes)

    What to expect

    • Clarity without restriction: No rigid rules—just solid principles for food choices that you’ll actually keep.

    • Label literacy: Understand ingredients, additives, and marketing claims with confidence.

    • Foundations first: Hydration, quality, rhythms, and simple prep that fit your week.

    • Rooted in you: Guidance tailored to cycles, family needs, and changing seasons.

    • Integrates with kinesiology (optional): We can use muscle testing along the way to explore what your body likes and needs and release underlying belief systems or emotional states which may be subconsciously sabotaging your goals.

    Key highlights

    • Certified Functional Nutrition Consultant

    • Support for “food confusion,” overwhelm, and emotional-eating patterns

    • Practical label reading, ingredient clarity, and pantry decluttering

    • Simplicity and balance over restriction or fad diets

    • Family-friendly guidance for rhythms and routines that last

    Why people love it
It’s kinder, clearer, and made for real life. Most clients leave feeling empowered—not policed—with a short list of small changes that make a big difference day to day.

Kind note: I am not a clinical nutritionist or naturopath and cannot provide advice on whether food intake and/or supplementation is meeting your nutritional requirements or diagnose specific conditions. Functional nutrition consultations offer insight into principles and practices which support better health and wellbeing but are not  a substitute for medical care.

    Commitment & pricing

    • A minimum commitment of 5 sessions is recommended to achieve meaningful results.

    • Initial investment: $700

    • Follow-up sessions: $120/h

  • A guided 12-week commitment for deep, sustainable transformation—pairing kinesiology’s inner wisdom with functional nutrition’s practical support, so change holds in real life.

    What it is
This is where my work comes together. Kinesiology lets the body speak - showing where stress, imbalance, or blocks are present. Functional nutrition provides the external support - what we put into the body to strengthen, restore, and sustain wellbeing. Together, we address both the why and the how: releasing stress and emotional charge, restoring balance, and aligning food and lifestyle in simple, intentional ways.

    Who it’s for
Those ready for a mind-body-emotion-nutrition reset or upgrade - especially during meaningful life transitions. If you want steadiness, clearer choices, and changes that last, this pathway meets you there.

    What to expect

    • Gentle depth: We follow the body’s priorities (muscle testing) and translate insights into doable nutrition and lifestyle steps.

    • Safe & non-invasive: Sessions are lighthearted, relaxing, and focused—no need to over-talk the past.

    • Integrated change: Immediate relief (clearing stress, restoring flow) + long-term habits (nourishment, rhythms, foundations).

    • Designed for real life: Options for online or in-home; adjustments for family, work, and seasons.

    Typical structure (example)

    • Week 1: Intention-setting + status-quo assessment (to measure progress)

    • Weeks 2–12: 6 x kinesiology sessions (booked across the timespan)
4 x nutrition coaching sessions (food, habits, lifestyle)

    • Between sessions: Simple, tailored micro-steps to anchor change

    Key highlights

    • Bridges the energetic body with nutritional support

    • Identifies internal priorities via kinesiology; supports external choices via food

    • Addresses emotional patterns (incl. emotional eating) alongside physical health

    • Builds coherence: mind, body, energy, and lifestyle moving in the same direction

    Why my clients love it
You don’t have to choose between energy, body, or lifestyle—you experience them in harmony. Most of my clients feel lighter and clearer quickly, and over 12 weeks those shifts become lived, sustainable patterns.

Kind note: This work is complementary and educational. It supports wellbeing but doesn’t diagnose, treat, or replace medical care.

    Investment: $1990

Holistic Health is balanced on many pillars of life - sleep, nutrition, movement, relationships, spirituality, nature, and more.

With Kinesiology, I support my clients to discover which areas need attention and care, and guide them towards embodied balance, clarity, and the greater well-being and quality of life they’re seeking.

About Access Balance

Access Balance has arisen from my own journey with kinesiology and its power to shift health challenges after improvements with other approaches plateaued. In my twenties,  burnout and a family history of depression pushed me to look beneath symptoms and explore underlying thoughts, feelings and emotions.

Muscle monitoring gave my body a direct way to show where stress was held and how to release it and achieve balance in my being. The results were measurable: more energy, more confidence, more self-love.

And it became my go-to system to work with on any area of life. Within a year I was studying it and more than two decades on, this is the work I offer to my clients to achieve the results they desire.

What we work on

Stress and burnout • Anxiety/low mood • Trauma processing • Self-sabotage & limiting beliefs • Confidence & performance • Jaw/TMJ patterns and pain • Fatigue (incl. adrenal/chronic) • Hydration, toxicity and digestion support • Hormonal/immune balance • Support around chronic conditions and “food confusion”

  • Community grounded (Permaculture Noosa; Eudlo Hall & Grounds Association) and family-aware (became a mother at 43)

How sessions create change

  1. Assess: Targeted verbal and non-verbal questioning combined with muscle monitoring identifies priority information required for the session, with a goal of identifying the underlying cause of any imbalance.

  2. Correct: Energy balancing techniques address the imbalances/stresses identified to allow the body to naturally heal.

  3. Integrate: Simple practices - hydration strategy, rhythm resets, and micro-habits - help changes last.

  4. Measure: We track what matters to you (e.g. sleep quality, pain levels, energy, mood stability, focus) so progress is visible.

The Access Balance Holistic approach

No overwhelm. No forcing. We address root drivers, build nervous-system safety, and translate each session into practical steps you can sustain. Clients typically report clearer thinking, calmer mood, improved sleep and steadier energy within their first few visits.

Scope note: Kinesiology supports the body’s innate capacity to heal. It does not diagnose or treat medical conditions and works well alongside medical and allied-care plans.

Although my roots are in Kinesiology, my services are deeply informed by my own life experience and a foundation of diverse modalities I’ve studied and practiced over two decades.

Functional nutrition, somatic and energy-based tools, and a pragmatic, engineering-trained mindset all support the way I listen to the body and translate insights into outcomes for clients.

I have journeyed through stages in life focused on spiritual growth, personal development, energy healing, diet and nutrition, removing toxins and growing my own food with a consistent undercurrent of regular physical activity

I now realise there are many factors which influence our quality of life and we need to attend to all to truly thrive.

We are all on our own journey and I am dedicated to helping clients feel seen, supported, and guided toward changes that are gentle, sustainable, and grounded in everyday life.
